Party Weekend: 22/23 April 2016

The April party weekend had finally arrived. As usual our newsfeeds on Facebook were buzzing with posts from those who were already on their travels and those making last minute preparations for the event, all very excited about the weekend ahead.

Friday evening, and the pool table was as popular as ever, also we had some new Karaoke equipment which was quite a hit for some of us… although I’m sure between us we managed to destroy a few hit songs!

Was a lovely relaxing day and evening just chilling with lovely people.

Saturday morning and the sun was shining, what a sharp contrast to yesterday….not a cloud in the sky!

For some of us Saturday morning meant doing our makeup again and making ourselves beautiful, as the weather was so nice we were able to sit out on the decking and enjoy the lovely sunshine whilst chatting with friends (as usual discussing makeup and exchanging tips and ideas), some of us even got sunburnt!

8 pm was soon upon us and guests arrived to join the party, tonight was “disco night” and as it was St Georges day a few of the girls decided to wear their patriotic red and white outfits. The playlist for the evening was pretty much sorted in advance on Facebook by girls posting their requests….but safe to say that it was made up mainly of hits from the 70s and 80s. Pixie had been working very hard and provided us very very scummy dinner as usual.

After the disco, the Karaoke came out again…which meant a few more hit songs were ruined, but hey…. we all had fun, we laughed lots and above all we were all happy.

Here's a couple of videos from party night!
Watch a video of us grooving to "Oops Upside Your Head!"

Watch a video of us "Doing the Conga" :

Sunday morning and those of us that stayed the night enjoyed a very much welcomed full English breakfast, we left in dribs and drabs some, by train some by car…all happy in the knowledge that we’d had an amazing weekend being our-free-selves in the company of amazing supportive people...

Hope to see you all at the next event in May x
