Spa Social Nights

Swimming is not the most easily enjoyed of pass times for trans people, mainly due to the difficulties experienced in gendered Changing Rooms, but once a month we have a private hire arrangement with a local 4 star hotel, the Penventon Park, where we are able to hire the Spa for 3 hours for our exclusive use from 8 p.m. This is normally the second Saturday of each month, but there are exceptions, so it is important to look at the list of dates below.

The Spa has a swimming pool, 11.4m * 4m approx., gym, jacuzzi, steam sauna and infra-red sauna, though the latter is temporarily unavailable due to humidity issues, loungers alongside the pool, a seating area, and drinks can be ordered and brought from the bar.

There are also two changing rooms available and these, when we are hiring, are not gender specific.

There is no charge for attending the Spa nights. People can participate in as much, or as little as they want, and come dressed as they wish.
